Introduction
425 Shatto Place is a prototype development for the transit oriented communities of LA and metropolitan areas around the globe. Our mission is to root commerce in community while alleviating transit problems through innovative solutions.

Exterior Skin
Keeping the exterior of the original building, we decided to provide contrast to the design language with an angular glass volume that would house the amenity spaces. The geometric volume extends over the boxy concrete structure and becomes the roof over the atrium space at the core of the building.

With Uber Elevate proposing skyports in metropolitan areas like Los Angeles, we’ve incorporated this new method of pedestrian transportation by adding eVTOL landing pads to the roof.
Accommodating for this innovative method of transportation, it not only connects the users of the building with the rest of the city but also serves as a tourist attraction.
