The project site, split into two parcels, along with having a shallow water table, presented a unique challenge to meet the project goals. For this particular site, 20% of the total site area had to be reserved for detention.

Knowing the project would be heavily influenced by water, we positioned the various dining venues strategically to maximize views of the lake.

The boardwalk, dock, and kayak launch were unique to this project and gave residents a unique experience not found in many senior living communities.

Terrace Design

After designing the community building and pool deck, we shifted our focus to the space on top of the podium parking. These spaces were an opportunity to provide a variety of amenity spaces for residents that wanted to a more intimate social setting.
